The Earth Educational Collective is a bilateral project, involving school student teams from the US and Russia, opening up an opportunity to share views on natural phenomena from different positions, and to compare environmental challenges between the two countries.

I met Dima and Olga through Lars, the Swedish forester. That’s not something you hear everyday- but it is true! Dima and Olga are satellite mapping experts, and they happen to be from Russia. With their help, EarthEd received a grant to fund a program that introduces students to the world of satellite mapping and international cooperation. Check it out!
